The mind of Christ
Bible reading: 2 Corinthians 3 v 17 to 18, 1 Corinthians ch: 2 and Isa: 55
First of all, i want to say sorry for bringing my post very late. But in everything i thank the Lord Jesus for His mind given to us. For the world will not understand what mind Christ Jesus has when He came to do His mission. Whom the world couldn't receive it but out of the world were few people who understood Him. Even those who were with Him did not understand Him very well until, the Holy Spirit has to come fill them up. This indicate that, the Holy Spirit has to fill us in order to know the mind of Christ. It is said in 1 Cor 2 v 10 - 11 " 10 these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. 11 For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.
Therefore it is the Spirit which will teaches us the mind of Jesus. And what is the mind of Jesus, someone may ask? To me is the love of Jesus Christ. A love of Christ is a love of sacrifice for each other. Christ Jesus has to sacrifice His life for the world, in order to save it. This means that the mind set of Jesus, was to show us love. A love of giving His life to save the world, a love of shame to set the captives free, a love of pains, to make the chains agony break, a love of hope, to the hopeless, a love of forgiven to the unforgiving, a love of sad to the restore joy to the sadness, a love of kindness to the undeserved kindness.
Christ mind was full of the Holy Spirit from the her mother's womb, a mind which has the Heavenly Father's heart. The Father heart was full of love, not of fear, hatred but of everything about love. This makes it very difficult for the world to understand such love. Because this mind of Christ is not a physical mind but of the Spirit. The same way is the love of Christ Jesus, is off the Spirit. Meaning the world which did not received Him, did have the Spirit within. But thanks be to God that, through Jesus Christ, the sacrificial lamb has paid the price for the world. Through Jesus Christ, we can also have the mind of the Spirit. For the Spirit comes from the Father and the Father is within the Son, Jesus Christ.
Everyone has the mind of Christ, from the very day Christ died on the cross to save us. All we need to do is ask Him to unveil the mind of the Father. We are His children and He has us the Spirit, in order to know Him more and more.
