Week 3 : Three Chapters that have been hardest to reconcile with, and why?
Month: September
Week: 3
Theme: Three Chapters that have been hardest to reconcile with, and why?
Introduction
We thank God so much for sending His Precious Son, Jesus Christ to save our life. It is not of what we have done, gain, achieve, history of our life, characters or anything but it's the mercy and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that we are save. Amen
I thank the Lord Jesus Christ for your life too, i know and i believe He is doing something great in your life. For everything that happen in your life is for a special purpose. This purpose can only be manifest if you can understand who you are. And remember that Christ Jesus is our purpose of our lives. Without Him, there is no purpose at all, with Him there is a purpose of life. Amen
Three Chapters that have been hardest to reconcile with, and why?
I would like to talk about my personal chapters in the bible, that has been hardest to reconcile with and why it has been so had for people to reconcile with.
Firstly, I theme this first chapter, How to know love, from 1 John 3:16-20
16 This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. 17 If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? 18 Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.

19 This is how we know that we belong to the truth and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence: 20 If our hearts condemn us, we know that God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything. (NIV)
Every time i read this passage, it really gives me the practicality of showing Christ Jesus love to others. He laid down His life, meaning He sacrifice everything He had, His mansions, gold, richness, enjoyment, peace and everything in His life in heaven. All because of somebody He doesn't know is in trouble so he is going to help that person. He did even ask who is this person, where he comes from, he past history, family member or not, white, black , red, yellow or not. All He did was to lay His life for everyone. And the chapter continue to say " And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters." This tells we need to be like Jesus Christ, no matter what has been the situations with everyone on this planet earth. It is very had to go by these words, to sacrifice everything you have to help someone you don't know. But Christ Jesus did is for us, without any glimpse , just like that. Because He understood what He was doing, not has ordinary world, take things into matters.
The question is why can't we also do the same thing, being like Jesus Christ. We go to church every blessing day, hear the word of God every seconds in our life. It is very had to even ask myself if I have done it myself, being like Jesus Christ in my life, just for one second. But it's not too late for me and you to being like Jesus Christ, we can try it from today going. Let give it a try by being positive in our life of Jesus Christ. Let's us take our neighbor matters serious, even when it takes everything of us. And if we can't change the whole world, let us start with one person at a time. I call this, one person for Christ Jesus. This person could somebody you have never met before or see or known in your life. It could your daily pray you have been praying. This time, you will pray it for this special person with your family and one person for Christ Jesus, will eventually emerge. I will leave you to think about the following verses thus 1 John 3 :17 to 20 by yourself and let see how it goes.
Secondly, 1 John 2: 15 - 17. " 15 Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. 16 For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world. 17 The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever." (NIV)
Why we should not love the world and what must we do to love the Father. Loving the world is very easy to get going, things become physically good for you. Everybody will say you're living very well, and things are good. The world will really don't want you to let go, it is doing every possible way to keep you. But when the Holy Spirit says what you're doing is of the world but not of the Father. What will you do? And how will you know? It is sometimes take your understanding your who God is in your life.
In addition, someone ask me, it is written in John 3: 16 " 16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." Then why in 1 John 2:15-17, God is saying we should not love the world. And it was had for this friend of mine to understand. To me God love the world that's why He created. But people within the world has turn away from God.
Lastly, 2 John 1: 3 " 3 Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and from Jesus Christ, the Father’s Son, will be with us in truth and love." (NIV). To live with the truth and love is rare to come by in this generation. Therefore it is very had to reconcile with these verses. For the reasons, i will leave it to you and i wish we all ask Jesus Christ to show us the way of truth and love. Amen
God bless you and your wonderful family more than even me. For your joy comes first then me, so that Glory and Honour will be to God
